养老机构并不是一个商品，而是一套专门针对长者的综合生活服务供给系统。适老化养老机构设计所需要解决的不应只是打造华丽的空间，而更应该是为长者的衣食住行以及健康保障提供完善的运营、服务环境。提取有助于老人生态康养的自然元素置入空间设计中，弱化了传统康养机构环境所带来的心理压迫感，营造出高品质居家生活场景的亲切感和归属感。

本案的目标客群为高职长者，设计师想要空间有一些文化的沉淀，将东方意蕴和现代西方流行设计语言进行结合，既沉稳又不失活力与朝气。在传统中式人字顶的阅读活动空间里，长者们三五好友正乐享其中。同时大面积的木质材料也增加了空间亲和力。用橙色、蓝色、紫色、绿色、粉色作为每一层的主色调，不仅便于长者快速分辨自己的楼层位置，同时也利用颜色对人治愈的功能，在不经意中对长者们进行色彩干预理疗。

长者在行动上可能并不是那么的利索，所以整个护理院都采用了一种“无障碍设计”，这种无障碍环境既方便轮椅老人进出入，也给他们多了一份安心。在卫生间等易滑易碰的地方都装上了显眼的黄色保护杆，让老人在上厕所洗澡的时候更安全；卫生间的镜子斜面放置，为的是能让坐轮椅的老人不起身也能照到全身；还有每把椅子的把手旁都安装了一个小小的槽口，方便老人倚靠拐杖。诸如此类的无障碍环境数不胜数，为的就是让老人感受到设计师无微不至的关怀。在此安享晚年！

What needs to be addressed in the design of age-appropriate elderly care institutions is not only to create gorgeous spaces, but also to provide a complete operation and service environment for the elderly's clothing, food, housing, transportation, and health protection. Extracting natural elements that contribute to the ecological health and well-being of the elderly is put into the space design, weakening the psychological oppression brought by the environment of traditional health care institutions, and creating a sense of intimacy and belonging to high-quality home life scenes.

The target audience of this case is senior elders. The designer wants the space to have some cultural precipitation, combining Eastern connotation with modern Western popular design language, which is both stable and vigorous and vigorous. In the reading activity space with traditional Chinese herringbone tops, three or five friends of the elderly are enjoying it. At the same time, the large area of ​​wood material also increases the spatial affinity. Using orange, blue, purple, green, and pink as the main colors of each floor not only facilitates the elderly to quickly distinguish their own floor positions, but also uses the function of color to heal people, and inadvertently intervene in color for the elderly physiotherapy.

The elderly may not be so agile in their actions, so the entire nursing home has adopted a "barrier-free design". This barrier-free environment not only facilitates the entry and exit of the elderly in wheelchairs, but also gives them more peace of mind. Conspicuous yellow protection rods are installed in the toilets and other places that are easy to slip and touch to make it safer for the elderly to take a bath in the toilet; the mirrors in the toilets are placed on an inclined surface, so as to allow the elderly in wheelchairs to take pictures. To the whole body; and a small notch is installed beside the handle of each chair to facilitate the elderly to lean on a cane.
